During our outreach in front of GT Central, Malviya Nagar, we met Neeta.
When Neeta was informed about our reason to be there, it seemed as if she had found a platform to express her concern for animals.
“I was 15 when I first started playing the Bongo drums , but it was only when I was 17 that I got to know that the Head of the Bongo is made of Deer rawhide” , she said while signing the petition sheet.
Neeta said, she was deeply saddened by this information and decided that she would quit playing the instrument and won’t use a product made by killing animals.
Though Synthetic Heads made the way easier for Neeta, but we salute her compassion towards animals.
Thank you Neeta. More power to you.
